UA College of Nursing has again proven itself as one of the top performing nursing schools in the country today with one of its graduates ranking 3rd and all except one of the members of Batch 2016 passing the June 2016 Nurse Licensure Examination.
PAUL LEXUS G. LORENZO ranked 3 rd among the 6, 183 – out of 14, 184 – examinees nationwide who successfully hurdled the exam. His average score was 86.40%.
Paul was a consistent president’s lister. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in April 2016.
Aside from his outstanding academic performance, he was also the President of the College Red Cross Youth Council (CRCYC) UA Chapter.
UA awarded Paul with a cash token and certificate in recognition of his outstanding performance in the board exam. University President Fr. Joselito C. Henson said that UA is very proud of him and wish him all the best in his future endeavor.
For his response, Paul said, “I will forever be grateful to this university –the administration, our dean, our clinical instructors and teachers and my fellow Assumptionists – who taught me not only how to be good in academics but formed me to be the best person that I can be.”
Two more alumni made it to top 11 and 14 namely MA. KRISTINA M. TORRES with a rating of 84.8% and REGINA G. CAINGAT who scored 84.2%.

The oath taking ceremony of the new nurses will be held on June 24, 2016 before the 2015 The Outstanding Alumni of the Assumption (TOAA) awardee and Vice Mayor of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga Honorable Jimmy Lazatin.
