The UA community officially opened the Christmas season in the university on December 8, 2015 with the lighting of the “up-cycled” Christmas trees and lanterns and the launching of the 53rd foundation anniversary logo.
In his opening remarks, the University President highlighted the two (2) “births” being celebrated by the Assumptionists in the season of Christmas: the birth of Jesus and the birth of the University of the Assumption.
The highlights of the Christmas décor are the up-cycled Christmas trees created by the students of the UA Junior High School. (see related story)
